  • This includes SEWA which alone has 40 000 street vendor members
  • Also includes the Hawkers Sangram Committee of Calcutta comprising most street vendors unions in Calcutta

Zambia

  •  Zambia National Marketeers Association (ZANAMA) and Workers Education Association of Zambia (WEAZ) established by ZCTU national center

Zimbabwe

  • KweKwe Informal Traders Association established by Ishmael Nedziwe College of Labour Studies

The aggregate membership of the national organisations is at this stage difficult to estimate due to the fact that StreetNet has not yet established standard criteria for verifying membership numbers.
